If you require an ARC it will be automatically processed as part of your application. I wouldn´t start worrying about what to write in the ARC until you´re asked for one.

Don´t know what you mean by you paid for the PR card. You can´t pay for your PR card as you have not rec´d your PR. However you probably mean you paid for your application. But yes you will need an ARC. My husband is the same as you. Failed Refugee, failed PRAA, went home on his own will. We´re now at the 17 month mark. You have to wait until the Visa office asks for the ARC which is $400. It´s a very long process so be prepared. The RCMP alone is 6-8 months. And you definitely will need that. They will request the RCMP check within the next few weeks or months.

Hi Tintin am so confused about this ARC situation, wow 17mths so did your husband did his medical yet, well my kids and i did our medical July 2012,and my husband got a letter to say our package has now been send to the nearest visa office in my country,(Jamaica) now some people say you may or may not request a ARC,so i went on the website to read up about ARC and this is what it said.

.If you received a Departure Order and
•left Canada within the required 30 days and
•verified your departure with a Canadian immigration officer at the port of exit

you do not need an ARC. You may return to Canada subject to normal examination at the port of entry.

b) If you left the country without verifying your departure, or more than 30 days after the Departure Order was issued, the Departure Order automatically becomes a Deportation Order and you need to apply for an ARC (see point 3 below
And thats what i did my Depature was verified. So you think they would still request a ARC.

What kind of order were you given and why?

Volunteer departure order
