Subject: PLEASE I NEED HELP ABOUT SPONSORSHIP
  Hi everyone

I need help about sponsorship and i really hope you can help me out ,

I´m married to a canadian citizen and she wants me to go live with her in canada but to sponsor me she has to be working to provide me support for 3 years thats what i readed on CIC website , the problem is she can´t be working for some reasons , but for support i have people who are ready to support me for the 3 years , so my question is :

I wonder if we still can apply for sponsorship since she can´t work but i have who will support me ?

Thank you very much for taking your time to answer my question :-)

She doesn´t have to be working to sponsor you. However she cannot be bankrupt or on social assistance.

She needs to get off social assistance to sponsor you. She also needs to remain off social assistance while your application is being processed. If she cannot get off social assistance then she cannot sponsor you through family class. It does not matter if there are other people willing to support you. There is no one else who can sponsor you through family class - only her.

If your wife cannot get off social assistance, then you will have to qualify to immigrate independently. You will have to visit the official CIC web site and spend time investigating the different immigration programs available to see if you qualify to apply. If you don´t have time or don´t feel comfortable doing this research yourself - then you can hire an immigration consultant (like Roy) to do this work for you. To qualify as a caregiver, you need to have one year of full time paid experience in the last three years - or six months of full time studies in the last three years. If you don´t have one of these - then you don´t qualify.

Most immigration programs are geared towards skilled professionals. Truck driving is an unskilled profession.

Again, you really have two choices if you want to take this further: (1) research the immigration programs yourself on the CIC web site; (2) pay for the assistance of an immigration lawyer or consultant.

Why can`t she work. If she is on disability, the rule is not the same.

Hello AB: you will not be able to immigrate to Canada. You need to find happiness in living in your own country, even if you hate that place with passion.... It is gravely unlucky that you were not born in Canada.... and be on welfare or whatever and live a fulfilling life, like your lady.... Good luck to you.

Tell her to see it like an investimenet,
now she is geting just 500$ after you will go to Canada you both will be in social assistence and she will get 1000$ and if you do some babes you will get more, it is like300 $ for baby, and you will be happy for ever
