I didn´t get the statement , I year experience can convert into one year study , please write how.

As per Annoymous my corrrespondence degree if from recognised university will be counted.

Sunita to the best of my knowledge correspondence course does not count. Can somebody clarify this, please.

Here is the deal...
If you do a 3 year diploma course after your 12th grade and say 2 years of work experience... then you can count it as a 12+3 in studies and 2 years of experience.

You can also translate the equation to be 12 + 4 years of education and 1 years of work experience.

The main point is that the you can translate your eork experience into academic studies but you cannot translate the academic studies into work experience.

Thus you in the above example you can claim 1 year of experience and put the additional 1 year into academics.

For some reason the CIc officer can accept 1 year of work experiece oas 1 additional year of academics but the vide-versa is not true. so you cannot sya you studied for 2 yrs in diploma and worked 3 years...

The CIC is wierd in their calculations... but its true
