Can I project the interview date ?

Subject: Can I project the interview date ?
I was looking at the interviews scheduled at Detroit and from Jan thru March 22nd, they have scheduled 456 interviews - 175 in Jan, 155 in Feb and 126 in March (till 22nd). And they have 189 cases that are not scheduled for interview.

If the same rate is kept up, all the 189 cases should have interview slots by April. And the next set of files to be transferred ( which I hope will include mine) should have the interview in May.

Is there anything that should prevent this from happening ? Will my projections come out correct ? How has the past experience been for those who have their interview scheduled ?

Thanks,

KG

Does not seem to work like that.

A friend of mine was earlier informed about interview - but later (after a wait of 4 months) he got a letter saying interview is not needed.

Best is just wait and watch.

I´d be only glad to have the interview waived :-)

But Detroit does give me some kind of data to make such calculations - although it may be off the mark. Buffalo was almost a black box when it came even guessing what will happen next.

Anonymous, Could you pl give the context of your friend getting his interview waived ? What was his background, and any reason why his interview was waived? I had ordered my CAIPS and they have given me 72 points. The only reason I can think of that they want to meet with me would be to ascertain the accuracy of my documents. That is where I would like to compare my case with your friend´s - if there is anything common between our cases.

Thanks.....

KG
