Hi there!!
Can anybody give us some background info on working as an Early Childhood Educator? Like, for a professional working overseas for years as a teacher/ECE and overseas qualification but not having a Canada qualification is it possible to *just work* in Kindergartens, Early Childhood Centers and stuff?
Thank you so much for any info!

(in reply to: Work as Early Childhood Educator) Rules differ by province. You should research the requirements for the specific province you´re interested in. Regardless where you´d like to go - I would cross kindergartens off your list. You need Canadian qualifications to work in a kindergarten and there are more qualified Canadians than available roles at this time.

(in reply to: Work as Early Childhood Educator) I´m also interested in this.. can sombody tell me where the rules for provinces can be found..??
I already googled a lot but all information looks like information for courses at universities, etc.
Is there some organization for the province that has the rules on their website or somewhere..?

(in reply to: Work as Early Childhood Educator) When I google "working as an early childhood educator ontario" the first hit I get is a government web site with all of the relevant info.
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_ECE.html
Try googling again.
