Subject: Relatives
I need some clarifications regarding the relatives section who are living in Canada. I have my cousin sister who is living in Canada and they have PR she is my mother?s (first cousin) sister?s daughter. Can I show them as a relative(sister) and if yes what are the supportive documents should I include proving the relationship.

Thanks

she is your cousin. Not your sister. I believe that qualifies but you must show her legal status in Canada plus proof that she is your blood relative.

we have... parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent (brother/sister), child of a grandparent (aunt, uncle) grandchild of a parent (niece, nephew)

sorry, anonymous is correct. No cousin.

AR,

It does not harm to report them in Canada. Even though it may not score you points; it may look favorable since your adaptive chances increase with someone who may be of help to you in Canada. So go ahead and include in the application and provide (a) the proof of their residence - i.e. permanent residence card, and (b) on a paper a family tree showing how you are related to your cousin.
