Hi,
I am yet to sign a retainer agreement with a said immigration agent in Pune, India. However, he has already debited 1500/- dollars for registration with him. As per my telephonic conversations with him, he was to look after the educational assessment for me. To this effect, he had asked me to get my educational certificates notarized. However, I received an email from him stating that the education assessment would need to be handled by me as it is not a part of the immigration process.
Will/can I get my money back since I have not yet signed any agreement with him? In addition, when asked under what FSW category he is listing me under and what points he has calculated to assess my eligibility, he does not answer but says on mail that he will let me know from time to time.
I need help/advise from anyone who has encountered such a situation or who knows what can be done.

This is a world wide forum. That is something you and your "agent". It depends on what was written in the contract and your locals laws and regulations.
