| Subject: Instructional Designer on NOC list |

Hi,
I am an Instructional Designer and have approx 10 years experience. I design elearning materials (training materials such as WBT, ILTs). Under the NOC, I see an occupation listed as 5142 - multimedia instructional designer and scriptor. The job requirements and description, however does not match what I do as the description is that of graphic designers.
My question is - can i still go ahead and put 5241 as the code? Has anyone from this field applied yet - guidance will be apprciated. I need to know under what category I will fit in.
Please guide/help/advise.

The main duties are keen so the employment letter must match with your skills.Try NOC 2252
NOC 5241 or NOC 2252 are still not on the list nor do I see the title Industrial Designer so NO you can´t apply whoops you can apply and be rejected.

If you want to apply to immigration through the FSW program and your occupation is not on the list of 24 NOCs, then you need a job offer in Canada to qualify to apply.
