Subject: Landing Place
  Hi,

I noticed the new document I received from canada embassy that the place of landing is still in British Columbia, where in fact from the new application form I sent to the embassy I already changed it to North York.

Pls. help what should I do? Should I sent letter to the embassy for this?

I don´t even think it´s a big deal. Don??t bother to confuse them. Place of landed should not be a big deal, no law can prohibit residents of Canada moving in their own country. I believe even you apply Quebec PNP, you still can move to other province.

The only thing I guess is for certain cities in my province, actually federal government encourage new immigrant immigrate to Canada rather than big city like Vancouver. Base on my knowledge and news from radio two days ago. Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Prince George, Abbotsford, Vernon are those cities were selected by federal government to encourage more immigrants to come here.

I remember I wrote down Nanaimo as my landed place, hopefully it helps a little bid, I don??t know.

I have read from previous forum that whatever Landing Place you put on your apliication , then you should first land at that place and then move to another place where you want to live. This concerns me for I don´t have any relative in BC, so I have to land in North York instead.
