Subject: Residence Questionnaires
  Hi Roy;

The processing times for Residency Questinnaires has really escalated. From various reports from applicants, it appears that most RQs in central and southern Ontario have been transferred to St. Clair.

The St. Clair office is at a stand still. Early this year they were quoting an RQ processing timeline of 48 months. After applicants took to Twitter to reach out to Kenney, the timeline was changed to 35 months. Recent reports indicate that is has been raised to 37 months.

My question to you is: Is 35 months a realistic timeline given the fact that the St. Clair office has such a tremendous backlog? Is there any hope for those of us in that backlog, or should be just resign ourselves to waiting for 4 years?

Thank you for responding, Roy!

Sorry, I should mention that this is with regards to citizenship applications, not PR applications.

RQ Questionnaire (in reply to: Residence Questionnaires)
Me and My wife gave citizenship test on May 28 2013. we both received RQ. We stay with our 2 children. We landed in Canada on Sept 13 2008, and were out of country only for 2 months before applying for citizenship. We applied on November 21 2011. I have submitted all documents like all pages of passport including blank pages for all family members, our Income Tax notice of assessment for last 5 years, T4, ROE, Lease Agreement, Mortgage Agreement, Library cards, all our ID´S, Car insurance papers for last 3 years, phone bill, internet bill, and much more.
Can I request to know how long CIC will take to process our file and provide Citizenship Oath.
Thanks
