Subject: Removal from US;any implication on getting visa
My good friend was removed from the US at the point of entry owing to wrong visa issuance.

What´s the probabilty of getting a Canadian visa.Do you think she shouldn´t disclose her travel history.

If she does reveal do you think she may be refused a visa?

Depends on the kind of visa.

If she´s applying for permanent residency - no problem.

If she´s applying for a temporary visa (work, visit, student) - it may impact her application. She definitely should not lie on her application (remember that the US and Canada share certain information). If she lies and is discovered, it´s a two year ban for misrepresentation - plus she can pretty much forget about every qualifying for a temporary visa again.

Thank you soo much anonymous. She´s about to apply for a visitors visa though she intends travelling with her husband.

The husband has got good travel history so does she except for the US removal issue.

How else do you think she can package herself for a successful visa approval?

Removed from the US is different than being refused of entry.

In the visa application, she has to answer if she has ever been refused of a visa in any country, also if she has every been refused of entry or removed from any country.

She has to answer YES and then explain. Lying about it, it´s a very very very bad idea.
