Thanks mag,
Was your application online ?
Was it a LMO or PNP work permit?
Did you get it in the mail?

I printed it , filled it out and mailed it. It is an open wor permit. Good for one year. I applied under H and C and got AIP, then I applied fior the permit.

It came by mail after they had sent me an acknowledemtnt letter.

But I suggest that you call them and make enquiry, things move when you do

@mag

Call a Visa Post or a Call Centre and that makes the application move????? R U for real?

You got an open "work" permit after applying for H&C.

So you are in Canada because you applied for Landing from within Canada based on IRPA A 25(1)

Huge difference from an employer specific work permit applied to from outside of Canada then a refugee claimant applying for a work permit or an In-Land Spousal stage one applicant.
