Subject: DECLARING JEWELLERY AND ASSETS AT FIRST LANDING |

I am entering Canada to get my PR card, but intend to settle down in a couple of years. I have to get back to my job and my son has to finish his bachelors before we move to Canada.
My problem is about declaring jewellery. I learnt that I have to produce pictures and receipts of the same, but I have all my jewellery at home in my country and I am working abroad. I plan to arrive in Canada within a week, so there isn´t enough time for me to go home and organize everything - I shall have to rush if it there is no other option, and the whole thing is stressful and expensive too.
Could you please let me know - is there a possibility of declaring my jewellery the next time I visit Canada? I should be there again soon, atleast within a year. Please let me know. Appreciate your help very much.
Thank you

(in reply to: DECLARING JEWELLERY AND ASSETS AT FIRST LANDING) When you first land, you have to declare everything that you are bringing with you and everything that will arrive in a later date.
