Yes you risk having your PR status taken away from you. The timing smells of a Marriage of Convenience.

It would be even worse if you got Landed on lets say July 21st 2012 and your filing for divorce on July 22nd 2013 after living separately and apart for one year.

Khalid,

Short answer: no, there is no risk of losing your PR status.

The concept of conditional PR for spousal sponsorship came into effect in Oct 2012, so your PR would have been unconditional.

If you have lived together since 2008, I don´t see how there can be even a suspicion of a marriage of convenience.

Khalid Wake up and smell the roses and look at the time line.

He got Landed in July 2012 and is filing for divorce in July of 2013. Sure looks like a Marriage of Convenience MOC.

Ok let us be honest here; how much did you pay her? and what amount each month? And yes, by the time your divorce is granted, your PR will come under review but you can hang around for years, since the revocation of your PR, followed by your removal will take years... Enjoy life meanwhile.
