Dear all,......
First of all many thanks to the discussion forum members for the informatics discussions.
I have certain questions... and hope I will get answer from my experienced friends.
1. Is it possible to sponsor me for Permanent Resident status by my own brother who is a Permanent Resident in Toronto ?
2. Is it possible to sponsor my children at age 17 and 15 by their maternal uncle ( my brother who is in Toronto ) to bring them to Canada as Permanent Resident ?
Since I am not clear about these things... please submit your knowledge which will help me a lot.

Does your brother have a spouse or common law partner? Does your brother have children? Are either of your parents still alive?
If an answer to even one of these questions is yes - then your brother cannot sponsor you and cannot sponsor your children.

The answer is basically NO! Only in extreme situations can a sponsor of a non-parent, spouse or dependent child go forward.

In some cases your brother may be able to sponsor you through the Provincial Nominee program depending on the province he lives in. If he lives in Ontario your brother will not be able to sponsor you.
