Subject: Departure Order
Hi, an officer in the airport gave me a Departure Order last week when I returned back to quebec after 4 years. I got my permanent residence status in 2009 and came here to quebec but some days later i had to return to my country because of family issues. When I came back last week the officer told me that I did not comply with the rule of stay here at least 730 days (my PR Card expires november 2014)so he issued me a departure order, he also told me I have 2 ways: not doing anything and if leave the country inform them or appeal the decision within 30 days. I do not know what to do, please help! I have some concerns:
1) I read on other sites that if i leave the country within 30 days and inform them I do not need an authorization to return to Canada (ARC), that means I cannot come back to Canada anymore?
2) If I appeal, does my departure order become not valid until I have an answer?
3) What happens if I appeal and go outside the country for some days? do I need an ARC? during the appeal process can I leave the country without problems?

please anyone tell me what should I do? thanks in advance

Not living in the country for 730 days, he lost his PR status.
Apply again.

Obviously, you do not NEED Canadian PR, or else why would you work to get it and then go on outside for such a long time. If you do not voluntarily leave, I would like to see you apprehended and jailed AND deported. Canada is not a play ground unless you have citizenship, and even then it may not work that way.
