I am a permanent resident in Canada since April 2008. My mother is staying with me in Canada since February 2012 with status of Super visa.
I heard that CIC will start accepting application for parents for Permanent residence from January 2014. I am planning to apply for my mother permanent resident.
Can you please advice me where I can find application form for it? What is the procedure? My mother is currently in Canada so where I need to submit her application and which form I have to fill out.
Shall I need to fill up inside Canada application or outside Canada application. Is it will be the processing center at Sydney? I am expecting some good advice.

Regardless that your mother is here you should submit your application as an out-land application. Put down on the form she is residing here.
You will need to have your Mothers application arrive at CPCM Case Processing Centre Mississauga by 9 a.m. the morning the applications are accepted.
I expect that the CAP will be reached that day.
Start by getting police certificates and a medical completed.
The forms will be found on the CIC site.

Hi Roy..Me and wife are Citizen of canada, in 2011 my mother in-law came as visitor and until now..3 years ago he had hip fracture surgery herein canada and ever since has recovered,bythe way she is already 68 years old..My question is we were planning to apply her for permanent residence and willing to provide all necessary documents to support her application..my other question is that, is her PR be approve under medical grounds? I know that canada is very strict when it comes to medical..your reply is very much appreciated..thank you
