Hello! I was just wondering if someone could help me. I have submitted my application for family sponsorship in Aug 2013. About a mth later, I received an e-mail saying that I qualified to sponser my husband from Tunisia. On Sep.20.13 I received an e-mail saying that our file was sent to Paris (they are the ones who process permanent visas for Tunisia). On Sep.25.13, I received another letter saying that a correction was made in the "processing centre" and that our file was now sent to Tunis. I called the toll free number here in Canada to see what the processing time was for the office in Tunis because I wasn´t able to find it on line. They told me that they didn´t know why our file was sent to Tunis since they only process temporary visas...not permanent ones. They have sent a request to the Mississauga Ontario office to get clarification on this but they haven´t heard anything yet. I am just wondering if this has also happened to someone and if so, what came out of it. The processing time for Paris is 9 months. We have already waited 1 mth since we received the first letter saying that it was transferred to Paris. Will we have to wait 9 mths from the time all this is rectified? Or will we have to wait 9 months from the time we were told it was sent to Paris?
