Top of the day to you all. My name is Smith with H&C application in processing. I got approved,but during the time i left for Alberta from Ontario. The approval happened in February,but was not in the system yet. I gave CBSA my words that I was moving to Alberta and they asked me to send them a physical address once i get into Edmonton and that i should go right away to the CBSA branch in Edmonton which i did. So my lawyer called me that i have an appointment with CBSA ten days after i left the province. So i called them and seek for transfer or if my lawyer could attend the meeting. Finally, they agreed to transfer my file,but did not tell me what it entails. I called CIC Vegreville office prior before my file got to Edmonton and I was approved. I wasted about three to four months during which my file was transferred to Edmonton. So I made it with my medical,but they noticed that my background check was going to expire in August. So they put in another one for me through the Montreal office as an updated one. So it´s been four months now and still didn´t get anything from them. So I´m just wondering to see if this is something usual OR...... Thanks to everyone and your advice and opinion will appreciated.
