This is the situation,
I live in the US.
I applied for Canadian PR. Got a one time entry visa to land.
Enetered into Canada driving to Vancouver from Seatlle.
They got my address( I gave my friend´s address) to mail info about my PR card.
I had to come back immediately to the US due to contractual obligation.
I never applied for PR card, SIN, etc. when I was in Canada.
I missed PR card photo appointment.
Now I want to go back and settle down.
How can I get another entry visa into Canada? Do I have to get an appointment for another photo session at the SIN office??

you have to get the special permission from the consulate so that you can land again in Vancouver...
or second thing is just cross the border without being traced... this will solve all prblems..
Its very easy to corss border in BC

Hi Zorrin,
When did you land in Canada? If you are still a PR of Canada you can apply for "TRAVEL DOCUMENT FOR PERMANENT RESIDENTS ABROAD". A travel document is for permanent residents of Canada who are outside Canada and do not have a valid permanent resident card to return to Canada.

Do you have any information on how to schedule an appointment to get my PR card. Can I just walk in to the local naturalization office in Canada and apply for my PR card and SIN card? How does that work?
I have to come back to US immediately since I am still in the contract. But would like to get my PR and SIN, so that I will not have trouble going back again, when I am done with my contracting job. Thanks in advance.

I am a Canadian PR living in the US. I have decided to move to Canada. I am trying to get my Travel Document and am wondering if it is possible to apply in person either in Buffalo or Washington, DC.
However, I am not able to talk to anyone in those embassies. Do I need an appointment or is it always by postal mail??

17. Do I require a PR card if I?m returning to Canada by car?
The PR card is required to re-enter Canada by commercial carrier (airplane, boat, train or bus) only. This requirement does not apply if you are travelling by private vehicle.
Is this true?? How could I prove my permanent residence in Canada? Is the proof of landing enough??
