Subject: Value add of consultant |

Hello
I am a 33 year old IT Tech Lead/ Functional consultant in a global MNC with a work experience of close to 11 years.
I tried going through the site of the CIC and noticed that although the process is mentioned in detail but it quite laborious. On this context does hiring a consultant add any value ? WWICS is one consultant who I had an informal chat with but I am not sure if I will be getting the bang for my buck by hiring them.
Any pointers would be more than appreciated

(in reply to: Value add of consultant) It is fine to hire a qualified lawyer if you find the process laborious. Avoid consultants though - although I have never hired WWICS, I know they have a very bad reputation.

Wwics (in reply to: Value add of consultant) They are immigration consultants based out of India. I believe they now operate globally.
Also is it true that the filing for this year will close by 30April ?
Is it feasible for one to apply by that date starting from today provided I am ground level zero

(in reply to: Value add of consultant) To All
Home Depot, Loews, etc. will instruct you on how to build a deck. If you purchase the lumber, a hammer and nails you can do it yourself.
Now if you retain the services of an experienced, qualified contractor things should logically go more smoothly. If all you are seeking is something that looks like a deck "do it yourself".
