To All
When submitting an In-Canada Spousal Sponsorship it is your obligation to prove you are in a genuine relationship. That would include the correct answers on the forms and lots of supporting documentation and photos to prove your relationship.
A potential client contacted me and he was informed because his wife is an American citizen that he should apply from abroad and leave her here during the process. He resided two hours west of Toronto and thought time saved hiring a proper adviser was not worth the price.
He submitted plenty of relationship photos, marriage photos and even affidavits from Canadian´s and Permanent Residents with ID´s stating they also knew this was a loving couple in a genuine relationship.
**** His Spousal Application got refused even without an interview!!!!
They recorded his wife address as if she was residing in the U.S.A. when in fact she was in Ontario. Why, who knows.
On all In-Canada Spousal Applications the couple must be residing together In Canada.
