I am Married in Canada, but my sponsorship was rejected, I have to come back to my country. they did not recognize my marriage as valid or as bonnafed. Does that means that I am not married?, Can I married again? the application was inside Canada(inland)
I went through all the process, asked for refugee, denied, got married, denied. now I am back in my home land and married in Canada

(in reply to: Married) Impossible to say without a lot more information from you. Why was your marriage not recognized? What was the reason?

Married (in reply to: Married) They believe that my Marriage was arranged or that I pay for it. so they denied my application for permanent resident. Does this means That then, I am really not maried.

(in reply to: Married) Sometimes when In-Canada Spousal applicants claim refugee status and just before they are to be sent home they get married.
In-Canada applications done at the last second just before removal are normally refused.
Apply again and this time seek out professional help.
CIC can´t say you are no longer married. They just did not accept the quality of your application.

(in reply to: Married) If you want your marriage to be formally ended, you will need to obtain an annulment, a divorce, or wait until one of you dies. The immigration department does not have the power to declare that a marriage is ended.
