I´m hoping to find someone who has been in the same situation or knows about it. My husband is here in Canada. Originally from Jamaica. His PR landing was in July 2014. His son who is in Jamaica was on his application so my understanding is that he has also been granted PR. I´ve been told Kingston visa office will request his (the sons) passport to stamp with a visa. We are impatient and wanted him here in time to start school. Does anyone know approximately how long this takes? I have emailed the Kingston visa office multiple times with no response. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated!

Was the son listed as accompanying or non-accompanying on your husband´s forms?
