Subject: PP request and interview. Trouble!!!!
I have a problem!! i am being sponsored as a spouse by my wife, who is a canadian citizen. now, my application for permanent residence reached CHC,New Delhi and they started processing it on the 3rd February, 2005! i got a letter that was generated on the 4th of feb that I have an interview shceduled for the 3rd of march,2005. i was asked to bring all the original passports, 2 photos and another form, which they sent, which requires me to disclose my height and eye colour information!
Now, this letter, i received on the 11th Feb,2005!
TODAY, another "computer generated" comes to my house, which says that i should submit my passport and two photos, if not already provided, by mail to the CHC, New Delhi. now, wat do i do??
i have an interview slated on the 3rd of march(and even my e-client says that), and the letter that i got for the interview, obvioulsy states the time and place. Also, the letter for the interview is not a computer generated one, which the letter for the PP request is!! now, do i send my passport and photos or do i wait for the interview, which is just abt 15 days away, and then get my passport and photos along, as it is said in that letter?? pls someone solve this jumble as i duno wat to do?? expert comments would be appreciated

Make a copy of the earlier letter and new letter.

Then write explaining what you have done here - and then stating that you are enclosing your passport and photos as asked.

It seems your interview is now waived and all is required is passport for stamping of the visa.

Congratulations - you are through!!

Does the second letter state that your interview has been waived. If not then I guess it is a generic letter they send out to all the applicants.

I think you should wait till the interview to submit your passport. Like you said its just 15 days!

Instead of posting the PPs, take it along. As the interview letter in which they told you to bring your PPs and stuff was a special letter. The PP requested by post letter is a generic letter. It would be better to take it along and get it stamped on hand.

Are you saying that your application was processes in less than 2 weeks? Started processing on Feb.3/2005 and you received PP request on Feb.15/2005. Is this only for New Delhi office or pretty much all spousal sponsorships?

New Delhi Interview information.. (in reply to: PP request and interview. Trouble!!!!)
Hi Amy..I see that you have a ineterview for March 3nd at New Delhi concerning your spousal sponsor aplication...I am wondering,,did you apply for your CAIPS note´s before hand,,,so you would have a good idea what the visa officer´s concern´s where in your case... My husband went threw this spousal interview threw New Delhi office,,and it is not very easy to have a good interview at New Delhi..I know every ones application is different,,but if they are calling you in for a interview,,the visa people have already writen down concerns in their notes, for the interviewing officer to check you on...I know this,,because i have applyed for the CAIPS note´s of my husband´s interview..I wish i would of applyed before hand,,but really had no idea to do so...My advise to anyone who has to go for a interview,,is that if you have the time,,then get your CAIPS note´s..They will be well worth it in the long run....Good luck to you on your interview....Lily
