Could some friends help answer this :
I am trying to immigrate to Canada. I´ve lived in the US for more than 8 years. I came from China to the US at age of 23.
I lost the original police certificate from China, which I brought with me when coming the US, now only has a photo copy of it.
Can I use the photo copy?

the certificate must be original and not be over one year since the issue.

Alan - Thanks for the reply.
I was talking about the record before 1996, when I left China.
I know my current record can be got from FBI when requested.
My problem is that I lost the original china record, but I have a photo copy of it. Do you think they will be picky on this?

A copy is not valid and if you had an original that was 8 years old that would not be valid, either.
