Does anyone know if the Canadian High Commission in London check driving license records? Do they have access to this information if they don´t have a license number?

(in reply to: UK Driving Offences) They check for criminal and arrest records. It depends on the severity of the driving offence. If it did not involve a DUI then more than likely you should be fine.

(in reply to: UK Driving Offences) What if it involves a DUI? Can they find this out if it´s not listed on his criminal record? It´s not considered a criminal offence in the UK like it is in Canada.

(in reply to: UK Driving Offences) If you are in charged and have crimnal record, then you are in trouble, if not, don´t worry about that.

(in reply to: UK Driving Offences) I think it also depends how long ago the offence appears on your record.

(in reply to: UK Driving Offences) If nothing shows up in clearance paper, should be fine.
