I was panning on filing for immigration for myself for Canada based on Family.
My wife is a Canadian Permanent Resident and Indian Citizen, and her residency expires in April 2017.
How long does it take to get the immigration Documents if she applies for her Husband is she applies with all the Documents in August 2015.
In the Process of immigration, if her immigration expires, can she renew her Permanent Residence, can she renew her Residence, and will the immigration Application she applied for me as a husband be valid,or we have to start fresh with new Immigration Filing?
Looking forward to hear from you.Smile

(in reply to: Re: Immigration through Wife) The Permanent Residence Status does not expire. Her Permanent Residence Card expires but not her status.
The process anywhere from 8 months to 3 years when applying from abroad. (average)
