Subject: Finger printing for FBI
Has anyone done a finger printing in Maryland/US? I went to a county polic department where they do finger printings but they didn´t have the finger printing form/card accepted by FBI? When I told them the purpose for the finger printing they gave me INS number. Obviously they don´t have any clue...

FBI referred me to their web site in order to obtain the finger printing form which is in pdf format (fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/PDF/fpcardb.pdf). But the question is can I print this and take it to the police station. Now is possible to get this done at the State police? Sorry for too many questions but it has taken me so long to get past this stage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Write to FBI that you need an FBI card for Canada Immi, they will send you one in no more than 10 days. I am not sure if you can actually print the form from the web site since, the paper you are being fingerprinted needs to be thick enough, if I were you I will request it from FBI, they actually sent me two just in case I needed to apply immigration to more than one country
