Hi
My interview is coming up in March at the detroit embassy. Does anyone know if I will be allowed to keep any papers in front of me during the interview or not?

(in reply to: Hi
My interview is coming up in March at the...) base on my common sense, it should be a big deal, as long as it´s not about weapons of massive destruction

(in reply to: Hi
My interview is coming up in March at the...) Well, I had two briefcases full of paperwork at my interview (London)!
I had copies of EVRYTHING I thought they may want to see - bank statetements, passports, accounts, references, original application, correspondence - you name it!
And not only was I allowed to take it all in, the interviewer expected it, and requested it in the interveiw letter.
I took more than requested because I wanted to be safe - I took the view that if I didn´t have it with me and she asked for it, I´d be in trouble. If I DID have it with me and she DIDN´T ask for it - so what?!
So I´d take whatever they ask for, andf whatever you think you´ll need with you.
Good luck
Tony
