Subject: Can I apply second time for refugee status?

Hello. 18 years ago I was deported because my refugee claim was denied.
now for little a while i live in Canada, under radar.
can i apply second time for refugee status?
are they going to arrest and deport me as soon i will apply ?
or they will accept my refugee application and i have some legal status for 6-12 month?
