hi! can i sponsor my husband even if i have a serious illness? im not on welfare.. iwork as a parttime, receiving cpp disability and to my insurance.. i it possible that my application speed up if my doctor write a letter that im having cancer and need comfort / care to my husband? tnx

I don´t think there will be an issue if yo have all the papers. I´m sorry you are ill. Your husband may be granted sponsorship on humanitarian grounds. But you will need to seek the help of an immigration lawyer. When my friend had problems sponsoring his family, he approached Barrister Max berger (http://www.maxberger.ca/). I hope you will be able to sort it out and recover well from your illness.
