I received my file # today and i am trying to check it on e-client but the client says that the number does not exist.When will i see my status.

It is hard to say when it will start working ......keep trying.....e-client is not updated quite frequently....

you get the AOR after 2-3 months and then you get the e-client status thingy working in another 1-2 months.
If I were you I´d not really worry about it. E-CAS is a junk system its totally out of sync from the reality. Its just another gimmick of CIC to say that they have it online. Its totally outdated and the CIC offices just dont use that system.

Do not get so excited about the file number and e-cas...you have a long way to go....
I guess you have already posted your timeline in Yogi site. My sincere advice, do not waste your time in checking the e-cas and comparing your timeline with others.
