Hello i vivek desai put my file in May 2001 for permanent residence for canada.I gave IELTS exam in March 2004 and got 5.5 band and submitted new irpa forms and ielts result in April 2004 and also put my spouse blood relative proof(spouse´s uncle and aunt, her mother sister).In july 2004 embassy sent me one letter that you are fail to obtain sufficient point as per irpa rules so we review your file as per former immigration regulation 1978.My file is in interview queue so when my interview will be shedule. give me reply immediate

we have no way of answering your question. if they letter did not say anything, you will have to wait for further correspondence. Sorry we cannot be of more help.

caips may help you know how to present your case in the best possible light. they are saying you do not have enough points but still call for an interview. that is encouraging. I would order the caips so you can be sure to bring any documents that will help you and also get an idea of how to prepare for questions.
