This is rubbish. You already had 3 postings on the same topic. I guess, people have answered appropriately to your querries as well. Plase try to make a decision by yourself and do not bother others too much.

BTW, the answer to your question is YES.

see richa first of all are you single i mean to say its just you or your hubby too, secondly are still maintaining a valid status in usa , if yes all you have to do is to go to that state´s police head quarter ad(wherever you are living)and pay a small nominal fees and it takes few weeks but however in india it takes 3 to 4 months but however if you have family living there and they know somebody they can get it in a weeks time you have to be there depends how strong your family´s relationship with police officer i wish i can talk to you and explain you more
see you

FBI and PCC from India Clarified... (in reply to: PCC)
To get the PCC from India you can just approach the Indian High Commission, consulate or an embassy and they will do the needful. They charge about $20 (cdn) and give the report in 4-6 weeks.

If you passport has been issued (renewed) from the place where you stay you can get the PCC within 3-4 business days.

For submitting FBI clearance certificate, Get a fingerprinting done at a local police station or any designated place and send the form to FBI - CJIS Division. They will send the report back to you in 2-3 weeks. Please mention that you need it for Canadian Immigration and you have a 2-3 weeks deadline... surprisingly they are working fast..

After you receive it you shoudlsend the document to CIC.
Note for the FBI clearance... do not submit it until requested by the CIC.

Good Luck.
