Subject: new baby while applying |

Hi, I have the following concern:
I applied for PR some months ago and received the acknowledgement letter from the consulate.
Now I found out that I´m 2 month pregnant... What should I do after my baby is born? What new documents are necessary? Will this situation delay my visa?
Thanks for your attention.

(in reply to: new baby while applying) Veronika,
I´ve seen this question being asked and answered on this forum. It is too bad there is no search function it would help :(
So browse through and you should find the answer to your question.

New Baby (in reply to: new baby while applying) You would have to inform the Canadian immigration office or consulate, about the birth of the baby.
I´m afraid that this will delay your application process. For how long, I´m not sure.
The same case happened to someone I know.

NO delays in my case (in reply to: new baby while applying) Hi Veronica,
You have to notify the CIC after the baby is born and submit following documents and fee of CDN $ 150 to add baby to the PR process.
1. Birth Certificate
2. Passport Copy
3. Three Passport size photographs.
In my case, I recevd the medical request for baby in 10 days after submitting all the docs.
Good Luck...
