Subject: buffalo timeline
  hello, i know this tpoic has been discussed several times, however i will feel little better if i know that other people are or have been in the same situation.
i applies through buffalo , skilled worker
the last step i did was the medical done on june 16th ,2004
and iam still waiting for the Pr request
is this normal , i heard that it only takes 6 months , now i am in my 9 th
i am starting to worry a little , a little ? what i am saying aLOT!!!
please if you can share your experiences , i would really appreciate it

Where are you originally from? So far as I know this background check strongly depends on your country of origin,, the other countries you have been living in for more than 6 months.

I got medical exam done in July 2004, submitted the additional docs in the end of september. Now, I am still waiting. Already fax two inquiries to Buffalo, got no response.

i am originally from Morocco , living in usa
i did send them a rquest they answered : we are still doing the background check!!!!

I am not sure but may I suggest you using CAIPS notes...

You may get a better answer from using CAIPS notes...

I disagree. CAIPS notes are useful when your wait has been abnormally long or you are requested to attend an interview. Ordering CAIPS after you did medicals is just wasting your time.

I disagree. If you did your medicals it means you already got the required points and ordering CAIPS does nothing but wasting your time.

Back ground checking for some countries like yours take about 12-20 months. I did my medical january 2004.... I´m still waiting
