| Subject: Referral Backgroundchecking |

Does any body know about special background checking which is done for some countries and it take a lot more time than usual background checkeing. I have done my medical examination January 2004 and it already is expied I think. In my CAIPS, it shows that they are waitting for Referral Backgroundchecking. any idea?

I think they refer to your home country to do further background check. It all depends on where are you from and the information access in your home country, whether it´s easy or not, hard to say.
