Subject: Few questions for Sharon and all |
|
|
|
Dear Sharon:
1> Is it required to submit PCC from all the countries where you resided since the age of 18 at the time of IA?
2> How much fee in USD I would need to pay for me and my wife both having Indian Citi. and my two kids who were born in US and have US passport. I think it is USD 465 for me and wife but I am not sure for my kids who are US citizen.
3> Is there any specific format one should submit the application package like all the documents binded, notorized, stapled etc.
4> Do I need to get all degrees and cirtificates notoroized before submitting them at the time of IA?
5> Does choosing a place to live in IA impact the overall processing time for the application?
Thanks

(in reply to: Few questions for Sharon and all) 1/ yes
2/ consult CIC site
3/ never - ever staple or bind anything
4/ notorized translations that is
5/ not if you´re taking the federal route
but I sincerely think you should read the CIC site very carefully, you´ll find more answers to your questions .

(in reply to: Few questions for Sharon and all) Thanks John! I have consulted CIC site but unfortunately I could not get answer to all the following questions. Eg. on CIC site they have given that for any dependant under age 22 will require fee of 130 $. Is that the case for US born children as well? Likewise I could not get answer to all the following questions.

(in reply to: Few questions for Sharon and all) I know about the last question...
choose a place thats not popular and you will see some improvement in speed... good example is Halifax

(in reply to: Few questions for Sharon and all) Big Daddy,
Doesn´t make any difference, US citizens are foreigners as we all are, got nothing to do with being closer to Canada.
And about #5, there might be some thruth in what anon.is saying.Statistics are showing that 80% of all immigrants end up in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver, so it might make sense they prefer people to settle in less popular places.
