Hi guys,
I have a quick question for you.I applied for family class citizenship from outside Canada. My wife is a Canadian and we live here together in Turkey. We recently received a letter from Canadian government saying that our application was accepted by Canada and our file was forwarded to the Quebec government.
Question 1 - I was wondering if there is an interview for the family class applicants also or not?
Question 2 - How long does it take Quebec govn. to process family class files?
Question 3 - What will be the next steps after we receive documents from Quebec govn.?
Many thanx

(in reply to: family class for quebec from outside canada) 1. I can not tell if there will be an interview or not. But if your relation is genuine and your file well prepared, I do not think so.
2. The Canadian Immigration will send your file to Quebec Gov. It will take about 2 weeks before you receive the forms to fill from the Queb. Gov. After you will have submitted them, it will take about a month for Quebec to give the Quebec Selection Certificate.
3. then, the Quebec Gov. will send themselves, by diplomatic mail, the QSC to the embassy where your spouse´s case is processed.
About 1 week after receiving my wife´s QSC, she received her passport with her visa inside.
Good luck.

documents required by MRCI (in reply to: family class for quebec from outside canada) Less worried husband, thanks for the time line you gave. I´m really impressed, seems really fast to me.
As from the MRCI side, what kind of documents do they ask for ? An employment letter confirmation ? Last 3 bank accounts receip ? Taxes papers ?
Thanks for your help and hope it will help me to be patient.
