Hello there,
I applied for immigration as a skilled worker in November
2004 to Buffalo. I sent the package throgh registered mail so I know that it was definitely received on November 15.
I haven´t received my file number yet, its been 14 weeks, I am worried, does anyone know of a person in a similar situation???

Me too, did you check if your money order had already cashed yet? I submited almost same time as yours, my money order was cashed out on Dec 6 2004. nothing heard back so far

Hello sweetnovember,
I believe you´ll get their acknowledge soon. But even with their acknowledge letter, there is nothing to do but wait until they ask you to do the medical exams or attend an interview. In my case, the AOR took between 3-4 months!

You did it in Nov, if your drafts were cashed, you will
definitely receive it in March for sure.

Hey I applied under skilled worker class to Buffalo CIC exactly on Oct 28th 2004, They cashed my cheque on Nov 2nd. Hurray after a long wait. I got my AOR on Feb 26th which is today. I am really happy. So you will get it anytime soon. I mean people who have applied in November will start getting it slowly anytime soon. So now the official time to get AOR is about 4 months from Buffalo CIC. Good luck to you all.

i asked my bank about the money order i should hear from them tomorrow about what date it was cashed..
