Sharon, I´m still sticking around... Things are not moving easy...wife is very depressed, reluctant to talk to her doctor, I´ve been told she is depressed and is not talking to anybody... I´m really worried about her mental health.. Never thought the process was going to be this tough on our relatipnship... hopes are lesser and lesser. I´m heading over there tonight and might find myself forced to lie to immigration about the purpose/length of this trip... I wish I had my immigrant visa, but... we all know...

I will keep your wife in my thoughts and in my prayers. I know that the days never seem to end. I will pray extra hard tonight that you will get yourself across the border. Say what you have to... I am sure God will understand. Good luck my friend. Don´t give up.

Sharon,

I wish an immigration officer or one those people who just play with our lives could read the painful story of Ozz and hundreds of couples who made separated because of brainless rules of CIC. Yes, Mr. Volpe has eased the rules but my question is why those rules should have been there???? Why someones life should be destroyed because someone haven´t thought a while before establishing those brainless rules.

it is a stupid rule but I guess all Canada was thinking (or not thinking) was how to make the problems of deporation easier. Also to make marriages of convenience less convenient! hopefully they will work out a better way so folks like Ozz do not face this. They also need to reinstate the fiance visa.
