Hi....Hi if anyone here in this forum has gotten married in India,,and has immigrated to Canada..Can they tell me which marriage act they registered thier marriage under in India..There are so many different marriage acts..I am wondering if anyone has registered thier marriage under The Bombay Registrations of Marriage Act 1953..Please kindly let me know.. This act is not easy to find any information about online...I am just curious to know if any person used this marriage certificate, for thier spouse ,for immigration purposes...Thanks so much so much..Lily

(in reply to: Marriage certificate question India????) Marriage is a marriage. The acts don´t matter as long as they were constiuted legal on the time issued (the certificate). So not to worry on that - just have a copy notorized and submit.
