Subject: get AOR today part 2
Good for you, i hope everything will be easy for you in the future. Just want to share my thought; I think 36 weeks are really fast, how you guys think?

I am not sure if you heard of CELPIP, it´s same function as IELTS, however I tried it last year, damn easy, if you don´t mind go thru an exam, please try it, actually I encourage everybody to take examination if possible. At least you can have a peace of mind. I may go to take CELPIP over UBC again. last time, it??s my fault. I am too careless, that??s why I boom my written parts, only get moderate, all other parts, high, which is no good for me, I need all high. After examination, I think I am the youngest over there, one guy thought I am only about 17 years old and talked to me, why you, just a kid came to take CELIPI? Those people most of them over 30. Surprise me; some people even hardly talk any English. You gonna see how hard they are struggle for this exam because of skilled worker. I am not trying to say my English is better, as matter of fact, I am not.

Too bad, I am too busy to go to Vancouver and spent kind of lot these days. Why I said give yourself a piece of mind? Those matrix CIC officers might be stupid to suppose our written evidences are not reasonable. Only examination can lock your scores.

Point 2? Ask a stupid question, it´s Saturday, how comes you got mail? We Canadian, no post service on Saturday, so sad.

Yijie... this is friendly advice from a school teacher friend of mine. Stop writing long messages. You are entrenching some bad writing habits that will be very difficult to unlearn. You make great efforts to contribute to the forum but there are times it is very difficult to make sense out of what you say. I can usually get your drift if I read it a couple of times. If someone is reading it that is not totally fluent - it is almost impossible.

Get busy on your writing lessons. They are cheap! It will get you a better job, more salary, and will help you in every area of your Canadian life. In the mean time... read your postings outloud back to yourself to see if you can understand what you have said before hitting the submit button.

I am not trying to give you a bad time...just trying to help you.

you know what sharon? That´s my fault, I should go to take ENGLISH 12 ASAP, however, just work full-time, party weekend. It actually costs nothing to attend lessons in my city. I wasted the whole damn half year lower season, once summer comes, gonna be busy again.

Sorry for calling you bitchy, I missed the first lines of your message. Anyways, we all make mistakes. I actually think you gave him a good advice because he makes basic grammar mistakes.

My problem is kind of complicated. I have never had any formal English training before. I have never taken any ESL classes. I learn English by myself from TV, Sesame Street. I am sorry I made so much trouble here. It??s time to have some formal training.

No worries... (in reply to: get AOR today part 2)
Do not worry Yijie!!! If is the way you say, your english is actually nottoo bad for not having a formal trainning.
You don´t make any trouble here and nobody here is a pundit to qualify your english skills. My guess is that people are just trying to help you because if you want to stay in Canada you´ll get better opportunities if your english is up to standars. Anyways, do not forget that Canada is a "bilingual" country and not even all french canadians have an excellent english.
Just one advice from me:: Your commentaries tend to be full of colour and are very entertaining but PLEASE::: Get to the point of what you want to say!!! That´s very important for english speakers....They don´t have enough patience to read or hear too many details.
