Subject: Application processing for medical without x-ray
The DMP has submitting our medical for our Canadian immigration application. Since, my wife is pregnant she didn´t go through the x-ray exams. I have few questions related to this
- Would it impact processing of my application.
- Do we need to wait unitl the baby is delivered.
- Incase we need for baby to be delivered, what is the process afterwards.

Thanks !

Hi,

1) Well, processing time may not be affected if you get the landing papers before the birth of baby and you reach Canada before the delivery.

Else, after the delivery your wife and baby both will have to go through the medicals and that might delay the process.

2) It is answered in 1).

3) After the delivery, both mother and baby will have to go through the medicals. Baby will have only physical check-up and will not be required to do x-rays/pathological tests.

After the delivery you should inform CIC about the birth. Send a copy of birth certificate and 5 passport photographs.

The CIC will send you the medical form for baby and a form to add a member to the application.

Just my opinion.

Hope this helps.

No forms for new baby just pay the fees and 5 potos and copy of birht certificate and add a copy of his passport or add the baby to his mother´s passport that´s all. I´m sure coz I have done that 3 months ago.

Thanks Sanrup

Hi Mostafa,

It depends upon CIC. USUALLY, YOU HAVE TO UPDATE THE FAMILY INFORMATION FORM.

That´s why I adviced to send the documents and photo.

This is my own experience.

Thanks Mostafa.
