Does anyone know if you can use a personal cheque to pay for the request for CAIPS notes?
Please only respond if you are certain. Thanks!

(in reply to: CAIPS) A person living in Canada can order CAIPS notes under 2 acts:
1) Access to information Act, and
2) Privacy Act
1) Access to information Act - You have to pay CA$5 to get CAIPS notes. Under this act anyone living in Canada can access the CAIPS notes of any immigration applicant with his/her consent.
2) Privacy Act - Under this act any person living in Canada can get his/her OWN CAIPS notes for FREE.
