Subject: New LAW?????
  anyone from you here heared about new law that is supposed to be come out by march 15?
According to my friend who was been interviewed last january 2004 at the canadian embassy in manila and was not given any result of it....telling that it might be again evaluated by march probably by the new law.

i hope it wont be the point system that they´re planning to change. But i had the same input from a neighbor who was interviewed november last year. According to her the interviewer mentioned that a change on the requirements will take effect on jan 2005. but so far, only the conversion rate changed in manila embassy.

Sure thing dude, when making these claims post the web-site address where you read that.

Did your friend understand correctly - maybe he was told that he will be evaluated according to the new point system that came in 2003 Oct (Since he may have applied earlier to 2003). Remmember Manila and all posts take years for interviews.

Please confirm that again...

Don??t worry, if there will be some changes, it will have tons of warning like it used to be. Once I saw any articles from global and mail or Vancouver sun, which related to process changes, I will let you guys know. Consider I usually spent my two fifteen min coffee break to read those two papers.
