| Subject: Help needed in immigration process |

I work currently in Singapore for the last 2 months and my wife is in India and is expecing a baby in August.She will join me in October .Iam planning to file our immigration to Cananda and have lot of queries in mind -
1.How do I file the application when Iam in Singapore and wife in India
2.How to accomodate the kid and tell in the application that we are expecting
3.How to add the child´s application later.
4.How long does it take for the processing from Singapore.
5.Do I wait for my wife to join me and then file the application or can I do it right now
6.About the police verification, what has to be done
All your help will be greatly appreciated

1- Apply from singapore for both of you. Her location is irelevent now till you are called for interview (if any).
2- Do not mention that you are expecting. This is not required now as it is a future issue.
3- Once you get him, inform them formally by a letter with the child full details and his birth certficated translatted into English.
4- Depends.
5- Same as 1
6- You need a police certificate from you home country and any other country you lived in for more than 6 month in the past 10 years and you age was over 18.

Thanks for the help..I saw the guide in cic ,but still a little apprehensive,
Advise from people who have the experience gives us a comfort.
Few queries again..
1.Do I get the police certificates for my wife also.How is the process in India.
2.I have lived for 6 months in USA,How can I get the letter from FBI.
3.So when the baby comes and he gets a passport,is that a good time to file his details.Untill then we need not inform about this.Is that okay.
I would be very thankful to see your replies.
