Subject: Transfering a case
  Hello,

If I move the U.S., where I will be studying for at least two years, can I transfer my case from Europe to Buffalo and how long will this add to my wait time if it can be done?

Also do you think CIC would grant me Canadian student visa if I decided to do get my graduate degree in Canada instead of the United States?

My timeline so far:

Applied Nov. 2004
Notice Receipt Jan. 2005

Thanks for your help, AJ.

if u get ur case transferred, its gonna put delay to u case! and thats fr sure becuz of the time taken due to tranferring of files.
on the other hand, u can get a canadian student visa, but u will have to tell them that u have applied fr the PR! chances are less, but u can always try.

Does anyone know the estimated time of delay associated with such transfer? Also on the student visa ? what kind of chances am I looking at, so don?t waste money and time applying to a university the CIC won?t let me attend.
