based from our visa specific requirements. most of the documents needed are original copies. though some authenticated copies.
I just want to know when or what particular point in ur application process will they return your original documents. As for my case, i had given my original and authenticated Diploma and Transcripts.But im afraid if some opportunities abroad come my way and most of them requires original copies also of my documents. what will i do?
Also, i had read from a certain forum that it is advisable to include in your application a return envelop ie fedex or UPS for faster return of documents coz CIC actually returns the documents in regular/ normal mail only. I donno it this is true.

Did you say you sent CIC your actual diploma...
You are not suppose to do that... you cans end the notorized copy and you are all fine...
Although they say that they require original copies I sent all photosopies, ofcourse notorized, and they were okey... I got my medicals and now waiting...

How long of a credit history did you actually have in the US. I am sure it should get counted. If you have a long enough credit history in the US and/or owned a house in US before moving lo Canada, I think the loan officer is not giving you sufficient points for that, especially considering the US has a long list of trade and commerce treaties with Canada

CIC Manila returned all my documents right after my interview except the application form,SCHEDULE 1 and IMM 5406.
